Retail started the year well
According to the Central Statistical Office (KSH), the volume of retail sales in January was 5.4 percent higher than in the previous year, according to both the raw and calendar-adjusted data.
According to the raw data, the volume of sales was 3.7 percent higher In December last year. Calendar effect adjusted, the growth in the volume of retail sales was 4.1 percent higher than a year before while sales grew by 6.0 percent whole last year. (MTI)
