Chinese shops earned a lot at the New Year
The turnover of retail and hospitality companies in China during the Chinese New Year holidays increased significantly, by 8.5 percent, to more than one billion yuan (148.3 billion USD) – mfor.hu wrote.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced on Sunday that the sales of both New Year’s gifts, traditional foods, electronic products, and local specialties had grown strongly during the six-day weekend that ended on Saturday. (mfor.hu, MTI)
