Autumn started well in the US retail sector
Following the 0.2 percent decline of August, retail sales on a monthly basis grew by 0.6 percent in September, in the United States – portfolio.hu wrote. The annual dynamics increased by 1.9 percent to 2.7 percent, which reversed a two-month history of a slowing trend.
According to the US Department of Commerce data in the first month of autumn retail sales increased by 0.6 percent on a monthly basis. The data, which was preceded by a 0.2 percent decline in August was in line with analysts’ consensus interviewed by Reuters, so did not cause a surprise. (Portfolio.hu)
