Good start of the year for Metro

In the first quarter of the 2017-2018 fiscal year Metro AG increased sales by 0.8 percent, with revenues at EUR 10.1 billion. Member of the board of directors Olaf Kock told: they hope that sales will continue to develop all year. Compared with the previous 12-month period, Metro’s wholesale turnover grew by 1 percent, with stores in Eastern Europe performing especially well.
