Ecfin: growth forecast for Hungary
The European Commission has improved Hungary’s economic growth forecast for 2019 and 2020 in its spring forecast, but warned that there were more and more signs of overheating in the economy.
Experts from the Economic and Financial Affairs Directorate-General of the Brussels College (Ecfin) raised this year’s rate of growth of the Hungarian domestic product (GDP) by 0.3 percentage points to 3.7 percent, compared to the report of last autumn, and by 0.2 percentage points to 2.8 percent for 2020.
