Farmers in Zala County expect a good harvest
In Zala County, 6500 hectares of sunflower, 29 551 hectares of corn, 5354 hectares of soybean and 140 hectares of sugar beet are expected to be harvested in the autumn. The farmers in Zala County expect a good harvest, except for the areas affected by the weather.
The County President of the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) told MTI that almost 14 percent of sunflower was harvested in Zala County, the quality of the crop is satisfactory and the average yield per hectare so far is 2.87 tons. (MTI)
