Good coffee, good cafe
Since 2021, Shell has developed a unified brand identity at its filling stations across Europe under the Shell Café brand name. As part of the further development of the business concept, the cafés of the chain have been waiting for guests since August with a new coffee that has already been tested among customers and is proving to be extremely popular. As part of the project, the company allowed a group of journalists to get to know the roasting and packaging of the recently introduced product “on site”, at the premises of the Dutch Bolsward Company.

The plant’s specialists helped to understand the details
The fresh and complex notes of the new Shell coffee provide a special experience. It has a lighter roast than before, thanks to which it offers a more fruity and aromatic flavor with a caramel finish. This Rainforest Alliance-certified signature blend comes from South America, where the rich soil and ideal climate ensure the excellent quality of the coffee beans. The end result is a coffee that is both refreshing and refined, perfectly suited to the needs of modern consumers.
The coffee is roasted and packaged by the Bolsward Company, which supplies all Shell cafes around the world.
