Bird flu is not a threat anymore!
On 7 May 2021, the National Food Chain Safety Agency (Nébih) lifted the protection zone in Hajdú-Bihar county due to avian influenza. The mitigating measure is the result of the fact that no new cases have been registered in the area since 13 April. If the epidemiological situation continues to develop favourably, the surveillance zone may be lifted on 16 May, with the 2005-2016 trade in domestic and European Union transport resumed.
