The Varga Winery closed a good year last year
The Varga Winery closed a good year last year: sales continued to increase by 21 percent in 2015, compared with the 12 percent in 2014. The amount increased from 11.8 million bottles to 14.2 million bottles – Varga Péter owner told MTI on Monday.
He added that in the winery's 23-year history, year 2015 was the most successful. The optimal size of sales was planned to be 10-12 million bottles, but on the basis of the results of the last two years, and thanks to the growing demand for quality wines the 20 million bottles amount seems to be achievable within 4-5 years.
