Chaotic marking
Consumers’ number one source for product information is the packaging. In recent years several ‘Hungarian product’ lobby organisations were formed who established their own markings, but provide little data on their websites about the criteria of their usage. Not even the Quality Food from Hungary marking requires the usage of Hungarian base material or domestic production facilities.
