The economic performance of OECD member countries increased significantly in the third quarter
The economic performance of the 37 member states of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) increased significantly in the third quarter compared with the second quarter, when the decline was unprecedented as a result of measures to contain the coronavirus pandemic.
According to data posted on the website of the Paris-based intergovernmental organization on Thursday, in the three months to the end of September, the OECD’s gross domestic product (GDP) grew by 9 percent from the previous three months, when it fell by 10.6 percent. (MTI)
