The proportion of Internet users has grown considerably among the elderly
According to a report by the National Media and Communications Authority (NMHH), the proportion of Internet users among the elder has increased considerably over the past year, and the digital divide between generations is no longer deepened – the Director General of the office told in Siófok at the opening of the Media Hungary 2018 conference.
Aranyosné Börcs Janka described the results of a representative survey adding that, compared with the 33 percent of the previous year, today, 44 percent of the population over the age of 60 actively use the Internet and the ratio of smartphone users Increased from 14 percent to 28 percent. (MTI)
