The number of overnight stays increased significantly in Romania
In the first eight months, the number of overnight stays increased by 8.7 percent in Romania, compared to last year same period – the Romanian national statistical institute said on Monday.
In January-August 17.67 million tourist nights were recorded in commercial accommodations, of which 81.5 percent was spent by Romanian tourists.
The number of nights spent by foreign tourists increased by 9.4 percent to 3.277 million, compared to the previous year. (MTI)
