Significant changes in the price of agricultural products
In August, the producer price level of agricultural products increased by 20.1% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year – KSH announced today.
More specifically, the price level of crops and horticultural products rose by 31.7%, while that of live animals and animal products went up by 3.2%. In January-August 2010 the producer price level of agricultural products was 8.6% higher than one year earlier, which resulted from the price increase of crops and horticultural products by 15.3% and the price decrease of live animals and animal products by 1.3%
