Lidl is significantly reducing its meat product range, the thematic weeks are coming
Fewer meat products will be available in Lidl, and plant-based foods will be in their place in the discount chain’s offer. There will also be regular thematic weeks, which are meant to present plant alternatives.
“For ten billion people, natural resources are only sufficient if the rate of meat consumption decreases”
– Bild quotes Lidl’s German press release.
Lidl will hold special themed weeks in its stores, during which it will also promote meat-free products.
