The data of the KSH predict a significant increase

Well before the end of this year, the industry managed to overcome the production disadvantage, which was collected during the forced spring break – hvg.hu quotes the comment of Virovácz Péter, ING analyst after the KSH stated that in September the volume of industrial production on a monthly basis increased by 2.3 percent and by 2.2 percent year-over-year.

The good data is due to the performance of the heaviest sectors. According to the KSH, the production of both the vehicle industry and the electronics industry increased at a higher rate, as did the performance of the food industry. In contrast, production decreased in the lower weight sub-sectors. Related to this is the fact that, according to Friday’s announcement, foreign trade also increased significantly in September: the value of exports in euros increased by 4.6 percent on an annual basis, while imports fell by 2.6 percent. Compared to the previous month, exports increased by 28 percent and imports by 18 percent. (hvg.hu)
