Chinese industry and retail sales grew significantly in the first two months of the year

Growth in Chinese industry and trade exceeds expectations
Industrial production rose 7.5 percent year-on-year in January-February this year, according to data released by China’s statistical office, published on Tuesday. Analysts expected a 3.9 percent increase after a 4.3 percent increase in December. The pace of expansion in the first two months of the year was the fastest since June last year. (MTI)
