January 2025 – Procter&Gamble Hungary supported its domestic partner organizations with product and financial donations worth more than 182 million forints in 2024. In addition to financial and in-kind support, the company also placed great emphasis on volunteerism, carrying out numerous community projects for the benefit of those in need with the participation of its employees.

During its more than three decades of presence in Hungary, Procter&Gamble has built outstanding partnerships with the local representatives of numerous charitable organizations, which it also supported with large donations last year. The total value of nearly 315 thousand products offered for charitable purposes and the financial support exceeds 182,400,000 forints.

In addition to financial support, the company also supported Habitat for Humanity Hungary with volunteers. For years, its employees have been actively participating in the renovation work carried out by the organization, during which they transform rental apartments in poor condition into homes that provide decent conditions for those in need. The families moving in were also provided with a package made up of P&G products, thus helping them in their everyday lives.

The mission of the Hungarian Food Bank Association is to deliver surplus food to those in need, thereby reducing food waste and deprivation. This activity requires significant logistics and extensive storage space, so a group of P&G volunteers also helped them with volunteer work in the warehouse area.

The Hungarian Red Cross’s Girl to Woman program has been launched for the sixth year and has so far helped more than 20,000 young people annually to be prepared and able to go to school on those days in proper hygienic conditions. The main sponsor of the program is P&G, which provides tens of thousands of Always brand pads to the organization each school year.

In the framework of the company’s Livable Home program, in addition to the financial support of 30.5 million forints, the employees of the Gyöngyös factory also contributed with physical labor to the renovation of the Gyöngyös Families and Children’s Transitional Home.
