Compared to the previous quarter, the outlook for Hungarian agriculture has improved, with almost all stakeholders became more optimistic than during the first wave of the epidemic, according to Takarékbank’s third quarter survey, which was presented at a press conference on Wednesday.

According to the managing director of Takarékbank’s agricultural business, the improvement is due to the fact that those concerned have stabilized their situation by adapting to the new circumstances. According to Hollósi Dávid, they were favorably affected by the hospitality and the boom in tourism in the summer months, and the weakening of the forint against the euro also improved the profitability of foreign sales.
