Hungary’s competitiveness improved
Hungary is one place ahead of last year, ranking 52nd in the World Bank’s Doing Business 2020 Competitiveness Ranking, confirming that Hungary’s economic policy is on the right track, while maintaining macroeconomic stability while improving the quality and competitiveness of its economy – the Ministry of Finance (PM) wrote in a statement on Thursday.
The Doing Business Survey ranks countries on the basis of the quality of their business environment. According to the Ministry of Finance (PM), Hungary’s progress is due to the government’s tax-cutting policy and a significant reduction in administrative burdens. (MTI)
