Business sentiment in Germany improved in February
Business sentiment in Germany was better than expected in February -according to a survey sent to MTI by the University of Munich’s Ifo Economic Research Institute on Monday.
The business sentiment index increased to 96.0 points in February to 95.3 points in January, according to a February survey by the Ifo Institute for Economic Research. Ifo also upped its January index by 95.9 points.
The indicator measuring the current situation of the economic operators surveyed deteriorated to a lesser extent than expected in the previous month. The index dropped to 98.9 points in February from the 99.2 points of January, which was revised up from 99.1 points by ifo. The market expected 98.6 points in February. (MTI)
