Consumer sentiment in the United States improved in April
Instead of the expected deterioration, consumer sentiment in the United States improved in April.
The consumer sentiment index rose from 59.4 points in March to 65.7 points in April, according to unconfirmed data from the University of Michigan’s regular monthly survey released on Thursday. Analyst expectations averaged a deteriorating 59-point figure for April. (MTI)
