Improved consumer sentiment in the world’s largest economy
Consumer sentiment improved significantly in March in the United States, according to a regular monthly survey of the Michigan University.
According to the final data released on Friday, the consumer sentiment index rose to 98.4 points from the 93.8 points of February. This is slightly above the 97.2 point average of the last 26 months.
Analysts expected 97.8 points for the third month of the year. (MTI)
