Improving consumer confidence in the euro area
Consumer confidence improved in February in the euro area. This indicates that concerns over the debts of the region have declined.
According to the preliminary estimate of the European Commission; the index measuring confidence has improved to -9.9 points, from the -11.2 points of January. Analysts pointed out, that the strong retail demand would be key for the growing of the economy of the euro area – reports MTI.
