Growing employee engagement
According to Aon Hewitt’s latest employee engagement report (a survey conducted in 164 countries), the global engagement level is 62 percent, up a little from the level of the previous year. Aon Hewitt expert Réka Bakos told our magazine that index has been growing in Hungary since 2005. At the moment it is at 60 percent: this is the proportion of Hungarian employees who recommend their workplace to the people they know, who don’t plan to look for another job and do their best to fulfil company goals. This level is a little above the 57-percent European average. Hungarian employees are most satisfied with their bosses and colleagues, and they are most critical of their salaries and advancement chances.
