Kopint-Tárki improved growth forecast
Compared to its March forecast, Kopint-Tárki Institute for Economic Research also increased its forecast for economic growth and inflation in a report published on Tuesday.
Instead of the 4.0 percent GDP growth forecast of the previous report, the Institute expects 4.5 percent for this year, but has left its forecast for 2020 unchanged at 3.2 percent.
Kopint-Tárki expects 3.5 percent annual average inflation for this year instead of the previous 3.0 percent, and also raised its expectations for next year from 3.5 percent to 3.7 percent. (MTI)
