The OECD has improved Hungary’s growth forecast
The OECD has improved its economic growth forecast for Hungary this year, acknowledging the positive effects of economic protection subsidies and high vaccination during the pandemic.
The latest half-yearly forecast of the Paris-based Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), published on Monday, indicates economic growth of 4.6 percent in Hungary this year, following last year’s 5.1 percent decline in GDP. According to the OECD forecast, next year’s Hungarian GDP growth could be 5.0 percent. (MTI)
