The retail of the EU and the euro zone increased in January
Retail sales in January increased in the euro zone and in the European Union, compared to the previous month.
EU's statistics office, the Eurostat announced on Thursday that, according to seasonally adjusted data the volume of retails sales expanded in the eurozone by 0.4 percent in January, compared to the previous month, when a 0.6 percent growth was recorded.
In the European Union sales growth was 0.8 percent in January after the 0.3 percent growth of December. (MTI)
