Retail sales are expected to expand more strongly from February

Analysts expect retail sales to pick up in February
According to a report by the Central Statistical Office on Thursday, the volume of retail trade turnover increased by 4.5 percent in January, 4.1 percent year-on-year, according to raw data. In the food and food-type mixed stores, the volume of sales net of calendar effects increased essentially unchanged, increasing by 0.1 percent, in non-food retail trade by 6.4 percent and in fuel retail trade by 10.7 percent.
