Farm-gate prices rise 35.2% in January
According to the Central Statistics Office (KSH) the farm-gate prices rose 35.2% year-on-year in January, as prices for crops jumped 49.9% and livestock prices increased 17.2% in twelve months.
Farm-gate prices in Hungary rose 22.2%
in 2007, as prices for crops a sharp 40.5% and livestock prices
increased 3.6%. In 2006, farm gate prices increased 10.6%, with a 18%
rise in crop prices and a 4% rise in livestock prices.
