Increased Pangasius controls until the end of January
The Far Eastern pangasius breeding sites are often criticized, because in Vietnam animal health rules differ from the European rules. In Hungary, the authorities have already carried out Pangasius test this year, for the request of a supermarket chain, but the laboratory test finished with acceptable results.
Now, however, before the last Christmas shopping rush, Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Rural Development ordered the increased controls of pangasius fish products from Wednesday. The minister suggests the consumers to buy high-quality, verified, secure and fresh Hungarian fish products. The control of pangasius products lasts until 31 January 2013. (by our colleague)
