Hungarians choose wines on the basis of taste, color and price
Hungarian consumers buy and consume Hungarian wines in 95 percent, and nearly three-quarters of them never drink foreign wines at all – Szabó Ádám, the Marketing Director of Ital Magyarország said.
The domestic wine consumption patterns are broad enough in all respects, regardless of their wealth status and age, but in general, Hungarians buy primarily wines for everyday consumption, mostly from supermarkets and hypermarkets.
