There are more and more animal-friendly workplaces here as well
The lonely months spent at home due to Covid made many people want to keep pets. However, after returning to the office, employees faced the challenge of balancing commuting to work and raising their pet. Not only the owner, but also his four-legged friend can benefit from the working day spent together. The demand for animal-friendly offices is constantly increasing, so more and more companies are offering this opportunity in Hungary as well, including MARS Hungary.
The ability to pay attention to each other can be observed in dogs in the same way as in human communities, and this pattern of behavior proves the basic existence of the human-dog relationship. A well-socialized pet can even play the role of volunteer psychologist in any community, thanks to their supportive behavior and highly developed emotional abilities.
“The presence of a dog not only means a reassuring closeness for its owner, but it can also help to create a social relationship between colleagues who do not work directly together. The dog – without attributing any therapeutic character to it – with its presence or just by petting it, regulates a person’s heartbeat, strengthens their mental health, reduces stress and actively contributes to the interaction of community members”
– says Lajos Bernadett, the founder of Irodakutya, who, with his consulting work, supports the becoming of dog-friendly offices where there is a need for this.
