Here is the list of what makes a workplace family-friendly
In order to acquire and retain a quality workforce, employers today need to be able to respond to dynamically changing labor market trends. In addition to maintaining core values, flexibility plays a key role in employee satisfaction. This year, Procter&Gamble received the family-friendly Workplace trademark from the Family-Friendly Hungary Center, and the company’s example clearly shows how this can be achieved in practice. Family-friendly solutions and the diversity of the corporate culture contribute to the development of the employer brand.
The term family-friendly often appears among employer values or employee preferences.
“Family-friendliness is the direction in the operation of an organization, with which the given organization (workplace or service provider) regards the family as a value for itself and validates the aspects of families during its operation. The given organization serves its employees and customers as a family with actual measures the interests of living persons, thus promoting the creation of harmony between work and private life.”
– writes the Family Friendly Hungary Center.
