This is the most expensive place in Europe to get your shopping done
The entire world is affected by marked inflation: the strongest economies are no exception. Just like here, food prices are rising the fastest in England, Germany and the United States. So it’s no wonder that bulk shopping consumes an ever-increasing percentage of household incomes everywhere.
Inflation is a serious problem not only in Hungary, but almost all over the world: in particular, the prices of food and everyday consumer goods (paper goods, cleaning products) have freed up in recent months.
High food and energy prices and the continuous aggravation of supply chain problems meant that inflation did not escape even the world’s strongest economies. Among others, the United Kingdom is also feeling the rise in prices, the 9.4% value in June broke a decades-old record.
