ITM: Hungarian consumer protection retains its place at the forefront of in Europe
The domestic authority sent the 4th most product alerts to the EU Safety Gate system in 2021, according to data released on Monday; 55 percent of last year’s 162 Hungarian signs were due to risks related to electrical products and a further 27 percent to toys.

For years, consumer protection has been at the forefront of sharing warnings about dangerous goods with its European counterparts, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told MTI in a statement. (MTI)
