ITM: the UV filtering of all sunglasses met the consumer protection standards
The UV filtering of all sunglasses tested complied with the requirements for consumer protection control – the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told MTI on Monday.
According to the publication, 16 adults and 4 children sunglasses were tested for light filtering. Sunglasses are categorized by manufacturers from 0 to 4 into five categories, depending on whether they are recommended for protection against weak or strong sunlight. The category markings must appear on the sunglasses or on the label. (MTI)
