ITM: the number of complaints about product presentations reduced significantly
Due to government measures, the number of complaints received by the Consumer Protection Authority due to fraudulent product presentations has been reduced to less to a tenth – the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told MTI on Thursday with MTI.
The statement quotes Keszthelyi Nikoletta, Deputy Minister of State for responsible for Consumer Protection, who underlined that, as a result of legislative amendments proposed by the government and effective cooperation between the authorities, the number of complaints relating to goods representations dropped from 43 to 3 per month in the past three years.
