ITM: the number of jobseekers drop by nearly 10,000 in one month
The number of jobseekers decreased by almost 10,000 in April, and after the first quarter of 2022, the number of registered jobseekers was much better in April than in the same months since 2010, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) told MTI on Wednesday.
According to the announcement, there were forty-six thousand more current job seekers in April last year, and nearly ninety thousand in the fourth month of 2020. Since the beginning of the last decade, with the successful development of the labor-based economy, one million new jobs have been created in Hungary, and the unemployment rate has shrunk to a third.
