ITM: with the extension of the food price stop, on-site inspections will also continue

Food Stoppage Compliance Checks Continue
According to the statement, the government will continue to protect Hungarian families from the consequences of international processes and price increases caused by the war. Consumer protection will be held accountable in all parts of the country for compliance with the price limit introduced for certain foods, which has been extended for another two months by 1 July. Government officials have been investigating compliance with price, inventory and information obligations in some 2,000 stores since February. (MTI)
