ITM Secretary of State: strengthening consumer protection protects customers and law-abiding businesses
Cseresnyés Péter said that according to the amendment to the Consumer Protection Act published on Tuesday, from 22 August, the consumer protection authority can not only take action against sellers who have a direct contractual relationship with consumers in the event of an infringement. Professionals can control five levels of the supply chain, i.e., in addition to stores, manufacturers, importers, warehouses, and wholesalers. (MTI)
