The on-the-spot checks, which start on Tuesday, will also cover the maximum price at the level of mid-October last year, the quantity of products involved and information on food price stops. Failure to do so will result in a fine of at least 50,000 HUF, and in the event of a repeated infringement, the trader’s activities may be restricted for at least one day, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology (ITM) has pointed out.
