The number of employees increased further

In the February-April period, the average number of employees was 4 million 378 thousand, 84 thousand, or 2.0 percent more than a year earlier. The employment rate for people aged 15-64 grew by 1.7 percentage points to 67.3 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.

The number of people on the primary labor market grew by 105,000, but the number of public employeees decreased by 11,000, while who are working at foreign sites decreased by 9,000

The number of employees in September-October last year has reached its peak of 4,414 million, but compared to the first quarter, 10,000 more people were working in the three month period in February – April. (MTI)
