Wine Spectator once again awarded the wine lists of Hungarian restaurants
The wine lists of three restaurants in Budapest and one in Miskolc were also awarded by Wine Spectator, one of the world’s most influential wine magazines.
For decades, the American wine magazine has been publishing its Restaurant Award list every year, in which, like the Michelin stars, it is awarded in three categories around the world
its most exciting wine lists, awarding one (Award of Excellence), two (Best of Award of Excellence) and three (Grand Award) glass ratings.
To be recognized, restaurants must meet a number of criteria, which Wine Spectator representatives personally check during their visits.
The two-glass qualification can only be awarded to restaurants whose wine list shows serious professional content: at least 350 different items are on offer with a wide selection of wines from the most outstanding producers of the best regions, covering several vintages.
