Once again, regular Auchan customers can have a special experience
It is not only difficult to show new things in trade, but also in loyalty programs. In addition to its wide selection at favorable prices, Auchan also tries to stand out from its competitors with more and more activities that provide a special customer experience. These solutions, which are considered unique in the market, are unique, novel and exciting, and they also give incredible discounts to regular customers. It will now be Friday (August 2), when Loyalty Card holders will be able to find out from a bursting balloon which product they can buy with a much bigger “surprise discount” than usual.
According to Auchan’s experts, customers still primarily decide based on price, but it doesn’t matter how they feel while shopping. In order to improve the customer experience, in addition to regular promotions and discounts, the department store chain has recently been experimenting with very special commercial activities, which are quite successful among the loyalty card regular audience. For the first time, before Christmas last year, they were invited to do some extra shopping after closing, so-called late night shopping, during which, after a little hospitality, they could get holiday products at prices only for this occasion. The VIP Buyers’ Night was followed by the VIP Buyers’ Morning before Easter, with the same concept, but with reference to the Easter product range. After that, they were the first on the domestic market to announce the Treasure Basket promotion, in which Loyalty Card customers could take away 60 pre-made product baskets at a 60% discount in each of their hypermarkets, but they could only find out exactly what was hidden in their treasure baskets after payment.
Auchan hypermarkets are preparing a literally light sale for Friday. Regular Loyalty Card customers can choose an inflated balloon at the entrance between 4 and 8 p.m., which they must blow up on the spot, so that the coupon that pops out shows what and how much of a discount they will get if they buy over HUF 5,000. The prizes displayed in the main aisle of the store can be taken for about a third of the price. Each shop will also win two hundred thousand HUF grand prizes, which the lucky ones will receive in the form of redeemable Trust Points.
