The Store of the Future is open again!
The Future Store at SIRHA Budapest 2024 exhibition has once again opened its doors! Organized by Trade magazine, the Future Store Innovations stand covers nearly 800 square meters with 25 exhibitors, including MOHU.
Among the futuristic solutions presented from March 5-7, MOHU MOL Waste Management Ltd. showcased its innovative, mobile solution for manual return points. This solution, implemented in a modified Ford vehicle, efficiently accepts plastic or glass bottles and aluminum cans in large quantities within seconds, offering a sustainable option for retailers and smaller catering units to participate in recycling. The REpont recycling machine was also showcased in the store.
For the sixth time, professionals from Hungary and abroad gathered at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center for SIRHA Budapest 2024, Central and Eastern Europe’s most significant international food industry and HoReCa trade show. With over 300 exhibitors and nearly 30,000 square meters of exhibition space, the event is supported by METRO as its main professional partner and Trade magazine as its official media supporter.
This year, Future Store highlights tools and services that prioritize the shopping experience while focusing on sustainability in product development. The latest commercial incentives, both traditional and digital, artificial intelligence-based developments, asset tracking, data collection, and analysis play a crucial role. Additionally, the Future Store addresses a challenge faced by everyone in the retail sector – safe, 24/7 conceptual opening solutions, providing a glimpse into the future of retail.
The Future Store introduces numerous tools for the first time, allowing attendees to sample various product innovations, as seen in previous years.
At the SIRHA Budapest 2024 trade show, the AB1 pavilion’s Future Store Innovations stand features 25 companies showcasing their innovative products, successful sales incentive tools, and new solutions with professional guided tours every half hour. Participation can be pre-scheduled or done on-site, depending on availability. Tours accommodate up to 30 people, lasting approximately 70 minutes and are available in both Hungarian and English.
MOHU’s solutions were prominently featured in the Future Store, as the services they offer impact the future of both small and large retailers, catering establishments, suppliers for both segments, and most importantly, the consumers.
