Once again Coop helps children in state care
Coop Aid Foundation and CO-OP Hungary Zrt. have donated almost 60 tonnes of Coop private label staple foods to help around 2,700 children in state care.
The retail chain contributes to feeding children living in state institutions in Tolna, Baranya, Zala, Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén, Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok and Budapest-Pest counties in the value of around HUF 30 million. This year it is the sixth time that the Coop Aid Foundation’s truck set off to continue the nationwide support programme, which had begun back in 2011.

Donations handed over in Hőgyes, Tolna county
Between 19 and 27 November the Coop Aid truck delivered the donations to the six counties. Donations were once again handed over personally by the owners and regional managers of Coop. Coop’s goal is to raise awareness of the hard work done by people in the state childcare sector and of the need for cooperation. About Coop Aid Foundation.
