A compass to white wines
The Ministry of Agriculture has published the White Wine excellences publication for the second time, which presents Hungary’s white wines in an exclusive form.
Fazekas Sándor, Minister of Agriculture highlighted at the awards ceremony of the Country Tasting, that the book can serve as a compass in the field of diplomacy, in addition it can enhance the interest towards high-quality, commercially available Hungarian wines. More than 500 different white wine samples were received from Hungary’s wine regions and across borders, of which 272 were included into the publication. The three items that were rated the highest (5 star) at the Country Tasting were Balassa Vinery’s Villő 6 -butt Tokaji Aszú (2009), Csendes Dűlő’s Vineyard Badacsonyi Hárslevelű (2012) and Szarka Cellar’s Tokaji Cuvée (late harvest 2012).
