Iran is interested in Hungarian vegetables and fruits
Hungarian companies are mainly supplying pharmaceutical and paper products to Iran, but the Middle East is also very interested in Hungarian vegetables and fruits – Varga Mihály, Minister of National Economy told after the meeting with Hasan Kazizadeh Hasemi, Iranian Minister of Health.
The Ministry of National Economy (NGM) announced on Thursday that the National Accreditation Office and the Food and Drug Administration of Iran signed a co-operation agreement at the meeting.
Varga Mihály emphasized at the meeting that Iran and Hungary look back on a long and mutually beneficial past in economic and financial cooperation. The potential of Iranian-Hungarian relations is well demonstrated by the fact that in the first eleven months of last year bilateral trade increased by more than 65 percent and exceeded 45 million USD.
