Interra® Farm is about sustainable farming
Sustainable Productive Agriculture means to farm productively and profitably while protecting biodiversity and natural resources (soil, water, air…) on which productivity depends. It covers environmental, economic and social aspects. It has a positive effect on the wellbeing and quality of life of rural communities.
When farmers use our products safely, they can also protect soil and water resources, and contribute to enhancing local biodiversity. It demonstrates that productive agriculture and enhancing natural resources can be integrated.By partnering with farmers, Universities and other organizations, Syngenta has created a network of demonstration farm. In these farms high level technologies are integrated with environmental conservation practices. In the Interra® Farm Network, we combine modern technologies and agronomic solutions with expert advice and the hard work and dedication of real farmers. Our objective is to encourage the responsible use of all agricultural inputs, from crop protection products to seeds and the precious resources on which productivity depends. Our products ensure higher yields of quality crops , while our sustainable solutions provide farmers with the tools and knowledge to protect local biodiversity, reduce soil erosion and avoid water contamination.
